Check your draft before publishing
This free checker compares the title, description and article text you paste against a simple editorial checklist. It runs in your browser and does not submit these field values to a server. It does not fetch a URL, inspect your live website or provide a Google ranking score.
How to use the checker
- Enter the focus phrase you want to review.
- Paste your proposed SEO title and meta description into their separate fields.
- Paste your article into Content. Use the article's HTML if you want the checker to count heading tags; plain text cannot show its heading structure.
- Select Check SEO Score and read each result.
- Review suggestions in context. Edit for readers first, then run the check again.
What contributes to the score?
- Title length of 50–60 characters: 20 points.
- Description length of 120–160 characters: 20 points.
- Focus phrase included in the title: 15 points.
- Focus phrase included in the description: 10 points.
- At least 300 whitespace-separated tokens in the content: 15 points. HTML markup can affect this count.
- Exact phrase matches relative to the token count between 0.5% and 2.5%: 10 points. This is a rough text check, not a linguistic analysis.
- At least three HTML heading tags: 10 points. The checker counts tags but does not validate heading hierarchy.
Understand the limitations
These thresholds are this tool's own rules, not Google's requirements. A score of 100 does not guarantee indexing, rankings, traffic or AdSense approval. There is no universal ideal keyword density or article length. Do not add repeated keywords or unnecessary text simply to raise the score.
This tool does not test page speed, mobile layout, backlinks, accessibility, technical indexing, image optimization or factual accuracy. Review those separately. For search guidance, use Google's SEO Starter Guide.
Example
For a guide about image compression, enter “image compression” as the focus phrase, then paste your actual title, description and article HTML. If the tool reports missing headings after you paste plain text, use your editor's HTML view or review your headings manually.
